The fourth day – fun time is officially over. From Seoul, I headed down to Gyeongsan. The bus and train ride is fairly similar in time, about 3 hours or so.
Actually, my friend bought the ticket for me through her phone, so I actually don’t know how to order tickets online. I did find this website but it doesn’t go to the place I am heading to http://www.kobus.co.kr/web/eng/02_service/service01.jsp.
Having a lot of things (i.e. luggage) is really annoying…
Rather than going into Seoul, my friend helped me book to leave from the East Seoul Station, where it is closer to get to and much less traffic.
After getting on the bus, it is a smooth ride to Gyeongsan. The buildings are gone and replaced by the greenery and mountains.
On the way, there was a rest stop (휴게소), where we can go to the washroom and stretch for 15 minutes.
I arrived at the bus terminal. I had so much luggage but no WiFi, so I grabbed a taxi. The lady drove me to the wrong place and didn’t give me change for the money I gave her…
When I got to my dormitory, there was some confusion about the room number and passport. Finally, I met my roommate and we had Samgyeopsal (삼겹살), in a restaurant which name I don’t remember.
Also, the school also gave me blankets for my empty bed… except it was pretty thin for winter and I had to go out and buy another blanket. The next day, I also got a bill for the blankets the school provided me.
First day in Gyeongsan.
