December 23rd – two days before Christmas!
This morning, I found another exercising place near Homeplus (my favorite place to buy expensive groceries).
It was a little far but I was doing my morning jog so it wasn’t too bad. I was only nervous about the bad drivers who might hit me when I run.
The place was quite nice, it was what I imagined a park in Korea to be like — like Yeouido Park in Seoul! I just kept running and running … and then out of nowhere, it is a mini putting range
…. comfortable foamy paths for walking.
There are pedestrian bridges and walkways to go across the stream …
It was a nice day! It is quite rare to see blue skies in Korea because of fine dust in the air ….
… and that was my little morning trip of the day. I really don’t like afternoon classes 😦
Since it is also Friday, we went to a Hof 호프 that night. I think this name appears in Korea distinctively. It mainly serves Chimaek (Korean: 치맥), which is a combo of chicken and beer. However, it does serve a fusion of western and Korean Style dishes. We also ordered a Tonkatsu and Korean Seafood Hotpot along with some soju. I think each Hof has different menus though but Chimaek is definitely the highlight.
The soju was 7%, which is much lighter than normal … and had flavors like Grapes, Grapefruit, peach, and blueberry.
