Busan has a stamp tour every Winter and Summer season and they have an information booth set up right in front of the Busan Station. It consists of a free bus tours to specific attractions, where people can then collect the stamps and exchange them for gifts! It was only for the month of January. More information here.
We missed the bus to Gukje Market so we got on a later bus heading to Haeundae Traditional Market. The trip was almost 30 minutes from Busan Station but it was quite fun … the tour guide was very informative :p
The traditional market wasn’t that big, so we had time to go to the beach!!! They still had Christmas decorations up!
Even though it was still cold, the beach was still quite nice. An hour north of here, Daegu was snowing.
We barely made it back to the designated bus stop to take the bus back … From Busan Station, we just took the metro to the other traditional markets, which were very close to one another.
Another place we went to was the Jagalchi Market (부산 자갈치시장). It is the fish market in Busan and it is huge!
There is even a large building at the market that you can eat buffet, and even stay at a guesthouse! At the top level is also an observatory deck.
The final stop was Seomyeon Market, where we ate Pork and rice soup and then received a stamp for our efforts 🙂 The pork and rice soup was a little different than the one we had in Pohang … the taste wasn’t as strong and when I said I wanted little spicy, I really did get little spicy!
… then we walked around the shopping area before returning home.
