Daegu isn’t known for anything except eating … so we were on an eating tour with my friends!
The first stop was the Udon and Bulgogi on Bukseongro. I had came here before with my friend! Unfortunately, it wasn’t open before 5 PM but there was another place (a restaurant) that sells the same thing. It doesn’t have the same feel but at least they got to eat it! We went via Daegu Station and walked some 10 minutes.
After, I brought them around Dongseongro, which is not as impressive as Myeongdong but (at least) I love it there.
The second stop was the Anjirang Makchang Street! I didn’t know which restaurant was good, but this lady came out of her restaurant and took us in there LOL. However, the price was pretty cheap and we ordered quite a bit of food. We got here via getting off at the Anjirang Station.
The final stop of the day was the Apsan Coffee Street, which is really close to the Anjirang Street! It is located at the base of the Apsan mountain there were many, many coffee shops lining the streets and on the side streets …
… but of all the coffee shop there was, they choose Starbucks! It was really expensive T.T
Then, I brought them to the bus station to make sure they go home safe and sound. HOWEVER, me being me, I brought them to the wrong West Bus Station. Apparently, there are two – West Daegu Station and Daegu West Intercity… I went to Daegu West Intercity Bus terminal, which was fine for my Jeonju friend but the guy heading to Seoul .. he’s out of luck. He had to take a 20 minutes taxi ride in rough Daegu traffic…. I was too nervous to ask if he made it to his bus on time (since he bought it ahead of time).
That concludes the misadventure of February 20, 2017.
