The next day, I stayed in Daegu and ate at a restaurant in the Hyundai mall. I had a bibimbap and it was the same price as Vancouver (11,000 WON) but I got to meet my friend’s friend who is working as an English teacher at a public school in Daegu.

She encouraged me to be an English teacher but I don’t want to commit to a one-year contract. And that is if I even get a job! It is super competitive to get a job in Korea these days – you either need a Masters, lots of experience, or the basic – TESOL (which I do have lol).

It does seem like all the English teachers are having a lot of fun … via facebook. They make money and they get to travel .. but that could be the misconception …?
Honestly, I haven’t looked into the option. I prefer doing things for free and sharing the joy of knowledge LOL.
